FanFest

I am so ready for baseball season. Levi and I decided that we needed to get out of Ephrata and away from the cold for a weekend, so we took the kids to Fanfest at Safeco Field this weekend. It was so much fun. We got to run around the bases, hit balls, play catch in the field, go in the dugout, catch fly balls, get our picture taken with the moose and more. We also stood in line for about an hour to get Don Wakamatsu's autograph (he is the new Manager for the Mariners) and while standing there, Dave Valle was making his way through the line signing autographs as well--he used to catch for the Mariners but now he's a commentator. It was so awesome. We had so much fun. After a long day at the field, we checked into the hotel--we decided it would be better to stay the night then drive home--good idea, we were both EXHAUSTED!!!
A word of advice, don't give kids cookies before you want them to go to sleep. After checking in, the lady at the desk gave me warm chocolate chip cookies for the kids, I figured why not, the kids were good today in spite of all the walking and standing in line. OH MY GOSH--I have never seen them more hyper or bouncy, all three of them were bouncing from one bed to the other, running around the room--I hope there is good insulation in the walls otherwise the poor people around us. Other than that--awesome weekend, and nice to get away--the temperature was mid to high 40s. Jett and Levi wait in line

interested in looking at the moose than the camera.
